I am working on a new project that involves the history of some of the communities around Smith Mountain Lake. Not to spoil anything for you, but people have been farming out here since the early 1700s!

Today found me at the Moneta Library, part of the Bedford County Public Library System, looking at some cool old books, learning many things, and congratulating myself for not checking out any books to add to my already healthy stack of to-reads.
