I can’t get close enough to the neighbor cows for a picture. This stunner is from pxhere.com.

. . . But not in that order.

Today, November 1, marks the beginning of NaNoWriMo (National Novel Writing Month). Basically, you try to write about 1700 words each day throughout November and in the end, you will have a manuscript! BOOM! I first gave this a try in maybe 2007 and have dutifully ignored it ever since.

But this year, it’s on. People all over the world do it and it’s so cool!

My first 2000 words are done and it took me a couple of hours. So I think that the blog posts will be blissfully short this month.

And heck, since it’s November and I used to post gratitude posts on social media, I think I’ll work them in here.

Today I am grateful that the cows in our neighborhood are starting to grow their winter coats, because they look furry and spectacular.

What are you grateful for?
