I started writing this blog with the intention to keep it tightly focused on our new home. But all we’ve been doing lately is traveling.

That’s a problem I’m happy to have, and it’s something we’d looked forward to in our empty-nester lives. And I know that once we get more settled, we won’t be able to do it as much. So I’m living it up.

But check this out:

September 21-23 we were in Auburn visiting the eldest.

September 28-30 we were in Lexington visiting the younger kid.

October 5-8 we were on our anniversary train adventure to DC.

October 11-14 I traveled back to Alabama to spend the girl’s fall break in Mobile.

And now we are in Pittsburgh until Friday.

These are great places, and I hope you will indulge me some travel stories for the next few days.
