Today is the 25th anniversary of our wedding, and we did a very Roanoke thing to celebrate it over the weekend. That’s a story for tomorrow. Today, the momentous occasion was a great excuse to drive into downtown Roanoke for a trip to BreadCraft Bakery.

BreadCraft may be Jim’s very favorite feature of Roanoke so far. When he first moved here in February, he found that the bakery, just down the street from his office, offers delicious coffee and a great variety of baked goods, salads, and sandwiches, all served in a beautiful space. I suspect he visits more than he lets on. Jim loves his coffee.

It was a piece of cake (um, eclair) to find a dessert treat for tonight. The only trick was making the acquisition without running into Jim on a coffee run.
