The name of this blog is Old Dog Words and Code because, as I’ve mentioned, I am trying to learn how to code.  I’m currently enjoying working through a Udemy course on HTML and CSS, putting in several hours a day and following the steps to build a real website. It is cool stuff.

This is a perfect day for it. Florence is gradually stomping our way, the sky is gray, and the winds are picking up. The air has that sinister tropical feel to it. So I’ve been at the computer much of the day, playing with all those elements and attributes.

It works great, because by about 4:00, Jed the cat wakes up from his day-long nap to check out my work and shower me with love until I feed him.
