It’s September 11 as I write this, and of course I remember where I was seventeen years ago on that really terrible day.
And although many people I know on social media are noting the date in all kinds of ways, no one I have talked to here in Wirtz has brought it up. Maybe that’s because I don’t really know anyone well enough here to talk about it.
So I am just appreciating the posts that some friends have shared, because they are a fine reminder to be grateful for every moment of an ordinary day (where your biggest concern is that you will never learn enough HTML code to ever get a job doing it). Perspective is not only powerful, but darned helpful.
“If we learn nothing from this tragedy, we learn that life is short and that there is no time for hate.” – Sandy Dahl, wife of Flight 93 pilot Jason Dahl
And there’s this:
Wishing you a perfect, ordinary, regular day. And another one tomorrow. And keep ’em coming.
