I am blessed beyond measure to have my sister and her family visiting this weekend. We will show them around the City today but started things right yesterday at lunch with a visit to the Ballast Point brewpub in Daleville.

Ballast Point is a west coast brewery, and they’ve opened up this beautiful facility an hour northeast of our house (a very short ride from Roanoke). There was good food, great beer, and a lively mix of diners on a Friday afternoon. Perfect for a late-summer meet-up!
